immito Welcomes: Amanda Campbell
Amanda came to immito with over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. She is currently operating as immito's Controller tackling projects from financial forecasting to modernizing processes in our financial operations. Amanda's process always has the customer experience in the forefront of her thought process. Her vibrant personality and casual nature made her an easy candidate to be part of immito's first ever Company Culture Team.
Below you will find her story about how she made her way to immito:
I have worked 20 years in community banking, starting as a teller and stepping away from the same entity as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. What did that career teach me? Take chances, change is a good thing, and do not settle for anything! As I grew in my career I started to feel a disconnection of truly serving people in an impactful and meaningful way. I felt like the pressure was on to make the most money possible for the shareholders. That realization sent me on a deep dive of soul searching while giving other jobs and industries a try. I realized that as much as I love to crunch numbers, I love to solve problems, and have a strong desire to help others. As I continued on my journey to find the right mix of my skillset with a company that had the same vision and beliefs, I found immito.
Learning to live life full of positivity has been amazing. “It does not happen to you, it happens for you” is my favorite quote.
I have craved a career that is rewarding and I define this by being in a line of business that is about helping others, first and foremost. While also valuing it’s employees and the assets that they are to the organization. immito is exactly what I was looking for. We provide small business lending and are 100% about helping people!
